  Two days ago me and my girlfriend went to Oakland to visit a friend and since we are new to the area we decided to stop by the nearest Walmart to pickup a few household supplies which included a microwave. After we came home we unpacked the microwave which happened to be used it was so dirty inside it was unbelievable. We packed it right away and the next day we went to the nearest Walmart that is close to our house. After waiting about 30 min in line we where able to speak with the costumer service agent the minute she saw us her face changed and told us with a very unhappy face what is it we want. We show her the receipt and told her what happened and immediately cut us off and told us we have to go to the same Walmart where we purchased., the microwave. We were very dis-pointed and asked her if she could help us by checking the receipt if the microwave was sold before and weren't asking for return we just wanted a NEW microwave that we paid for... but she told us it's a policy all items must return to the same location where it was purchased. So we drove 1hr to the Oakland area Walmart to exchange the microwave and it was a very simple process they just checked the receipt they found out the microwave has been returned so they probably forgot to check the inside they were nice and understanding agents and they told us to go and get a new one. Also, I asked one of the agent about the policy and she told me we just wasted our time and gas we could have returned it at another Walmart too.. So we stopped by the same Walmart that gave us the wrong information.. and we spoke to Hanna the assistant manager for costumer service but she was unpleasant to talk to and very rude. It's very sad we had this unpleasant situation and a waste of half a day and being profiled.
